Hey Dennis -- sorry for the lapse in communication. I have an undergraduate degree in Creative Writing and I think The War of Art should/could absolutely be required reading in the curriculum. It makes the intangible tangible (Resistance) and, to me at least, is as important a work as any we read in discussing the craft and process of writing. And of course the principles Pressfield lays out can be applied across the board to any major or profession, I believe.

Thanks for your comment, Adrian. Don't you think The War of Art should be part of the curriculum for any college (or even high school)?

Dennis,
This book absolutely changed my life. It got me through Grad School, it got me to finally get my site up, and it's gotten me through nearly every other head-bang-against-the wall moment that life's thrown at me. I can't tell you enough how much it's improved my work and creative life. Keep spreading the word!

Best,
Adrian

I certainly appreciate the offer from Steven Pressfield to do a Q&A based on "The War of Art." I've sent the questions to him and will post the questions and responses as soon as I have them. What a great example of the Abundance Mentality!

Dennis, many thanks for the very kind words re "War of Art." I sometimes do a thing with friends who are interested, which is a Q&A of any three questions they'd like to ask about the book and its message. If you're interested, I'd be glad to do it for your blog. Just shoot me an e-mail and we'll take it from there.

Happy New Year and thanks for the plug!
